He was living with his sister Eileen Mary Albrecht, a spinster. It is unknown where he is buried; his death was registered in the 3rd quarter 1944 in Shardlow R.D.C, which covered Littleover. He is commemorated on the War Memorial in Littleover (St Peter’s Church) Graveyard.
